Madhya Pradesh: Military Intelligence personnel arrest individual with Pakistan links from Agniveer Rally ground

Bhopal: Military Intelligence personnel on Saturday apprehended an individual with Pakistan links at the Agniveer Rally ground in the Madhya Pradesh capital, Army sources confirmed.

The action took place at about 0930 hrs and the accused was identified as Manish Mewada who was lurking in the area and making videos of the recruitment. During interrogation, it transpired that he was asking candidates to pay him Rs 25,000 for ensuring selection.

Material found in his possession revealed that he was in contact with some foreign nationals including from Pakistan. Mewada is also suspected of drug peddling and attempting to supply aspirants with performance-enhancing substances.

The suspect has been handed over to law-enforcement authorities.
