M. Hamid Ansari condoles E. Ahmed's death

New Delhi, Feb 1 (IBNS): Vice President of India M. Hamid Ansari on Wednesday condoled the passing away of the Member of Parliament (LS) E. Ahmed.

In a message, he said Ahmed will be remembered for his contributions to the grass-roots development work in Kerala.

“I am deeply saddened to learn of the demise of Shri E. Ahmed, Member of Parliament (LS)," Ansari said in his message.

"Shri Ahmed will be remembered for his contributions to the grass-roots development work in Kerala as well as for his contributions towards the welfare of the Indian overseas communities, particularly in Western Asia," he said.

He said: "I convey my sincere condolences to the bereaved members of the family and join the nation in praying for eternal peace for the departed soul.”
