Lt General Bipin Rawat named next Indian Army Chief
New Delhi, Dec 17 (IBNS): Lt General Bipin Rawat has been appointed as the next chief of the Indian Army, reports said.
He belongs to the 5th Battalion of 11th Gorkha Rifles.
He will step into the shoes of Indian Army chief General Dalbir Singh.
He will retire on Dec 31.
Air Marshal BS Dhanoa has bben appointed as the next chief of the Indian Air Force.
