New Delhi, Apr 22 (IBNS): Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday gave a notice for the adjournment of the Question Hour in the Lok Sabha to debate on the issue of net neutrality.

When asked about the issue, Gandhi told reporters: "I am going to speak a few words on the issue in the Parliament."

The 44-year-old Congress leader was already caught up in controversy over his 57-day long sabbatical that too during a crucial Parliament session.

Gandhi on Monday addressed at the Lok Sabha where he attacked the Centre and called it  a 'Suit-Boot ki Sarkar'.

Flexing political muscles after his sabbatical, Rahul Gandhi assured the farmers in a massive rally on Sunday that he will 'fight their battle' while slamming the Narendra Modi government at the Centre and saying that the Prime Minister aims in making the base of India weak by his 'pro-corporate' measures.

Debate over the issue of net neutrality gained momentum in past few days after standup comedy group All India Bakchod (AIB) pulled up the matter over their new video where they are urging people to 'Save The Internet'.

The video is dealing over the issue of net neutrality.

According to netneutrality.in, the net neutrality is 'the idea that internet service providers give their customers equal access to all lawful websites and services on the internet, without giving priority to any website over another'.
