#Lok SabhaPoll: Five candidates file nomination papers on day 4

Puducherry, Mar 22 (UNI) A total of five candidates, on the fourth day on Friday, filed their nomination papers for the April 18 Lok Sabha election for the lone seat from Puducherry.

With this, seven, including two independents, have filed their nomination papers so far.

Apart from the main contestants V Vaithilingam of the Congress party and Dr. K Narayansamy @Nityanandam of the N R Congress, S Mothilal of the Communist party of India (Marxist-Leninist),Dr. M A S Subramanian( Makkal Neethi Mayyam), and N Sharmila Begam(Naam Tamilar Katchi) filed their papers today.

No one have filed their papers for the Thattanchavady assembly by-election so far.
