Lok Sabha election: 55.95% voter turnout in West Bengal till 3 pm

Coochbehar/Alipurduar, Apr 11 (IBNS): A voter turnout of 71.44% has been recorded till 3 pm in the first phase of Lok Sabha polls in West Bengal on Thursday.

Coochbehar and Alipurduar are the two West Bengal constituencies where polls are taking place on Thursday.

Voter turnout in Coochbehar and Alipurduar are 68.44% and 69.94% respectively.

The 91 seats, where polling are taking place today, are spread across 18 states and two union territories.

Voting in the Lok Sabha polls will take place in seven phases this time.
