Left-BJP neck-to-neck in Tripura, Meghalaya heads to hung Assembly, BJP surges in Nagaland

Tripura/Shillong/Kohima, Mar 3 (IBNS): The Left and the BJP are in close contest in Tripura, Meghalaya is heading towards a hung Assembly while the BJP is leading in Nagaland, according to the trends of poll results in the three northeast states of India, media reports said.

In Tripura, both the Left and the Congress are leading in 29 seats each.

In Meghalaya, none of the parties are going to attain the required seats to form the government, according to the trends. The Congress is leading in 19, BJP 7 and NFF 16 seats.

In Nagaland, the BJP is leading in 18, NPF in 14 while the Congress in 1 seats.
