Kolkata: Woman goes missing after giving birth, later found injured near railway tracks
According to reports, the housewife, Ranjita Naskar, was admitted to government-run N.R.S. Medical College and Hospital in north Kolkata on Monday and she gave birth to a baby son that night.
Since Wednesday late afternoon, the woman went missing from the hospital and her family members lodged a missing complaint at Entally Police Station nearby.
Later in the night, she was rescued with several injuries from railway lines near Ballygunge station was admitted to hospital.
Police have started investigation into the case.
