Kolkata: Presidency University student found dead

Kolkata, Jan 4 (IBNS) A student of Kolkata's prestigious Presidency University was found dead at a house in the city on Sunday, the police said.

The deceased woman was identified as Sumantika Bandopadhyay.

Sumantika Bandopadhyay stayed in the house as a paying guest.

In the room, the police found Bandopadhyay and her roommate Suvarna Lama in unconscious state.

The police took them to the Calcutta Medical College where the doctors declared  Bandopadhyay   declared her dead.

Lama is undergoing treatment at the hospital.
