Kolkata: Fire breaks out in the kitchen of actor Prasenjit Chatterjee

Kolkata, Jul 19 (IBNS): A minor fire broke out at the residence of Bengali superstar Prasenjit Chatterjee in Kolkata's Ballygunge Place area on Tuesday late evening, reports said.

According to reports, the fire was first seen at around 9:35 pm inside the kitchen.

After being informed, as many as four fire tender engines, police force, Calcutta Electric Supply Corporation (CESC) officers and Kolkata Mayor Sovan Chatterjee rushed to the spot. Firemen fought for nearly 30 minutes to douse the blaze.

Fire department, however, have started investigation into the incident to know the exact reason behind the fire.

No casualty was reported in the incident.
