Kolkata: Bullets fired at Entally again, another man shot

Kolkata, Jun 16 (IBNS): After the afternoon shootout in Kolkata's Entally area, few miscreants reportedly fired bullets again in the same police station area on Thursday late afternoon, which left one man injured, reports said.

According to reports, bullets were fired at Motijhil area under Entally Police Station limits. One middle-aged man, Shamshad Ali, was shot and rushed to a nearly hospital.

A heavy police force along with Rapid Action Force (RAF) personnel reached the spot.

Earlier in afternoon, few miscreants fired bullets indiscriminately and threw several crude bombs over a local building's promoting conflict at Bibir Bagan area under the same police station's jurisdictions in north Kolkata. 

During the firing, one local man- Sheikh Aslam- was shot and is being treated in a local hospital.

Police have started investigation into the both incidents but nobody has been arrested so far.

Two shooting incidents in the same day and at the same area have triggered scare and panic.

Huge police force and RAF have been deployed to the scene to keep the situation under control.
