Kolkata: Bengali actor Pijush Ganguly injured in accident

Kolkata, Oct 20 (IBNS): Bengali Television, film and theater actor Pijush Ganguly and dancer Malabika Sen were injured in a car accident on Santragachi Rail-over Bridge in Howrah district of West Bengal on Tuesday.

According to reports, Pijush Ganguly was driving his car towards Kolkata and collided with a Medinipur bound bus on Santragachi Bridge at around 4 pm.

After rescuing, they were rushed to Howrah General Hospital and later shifted to Bellevue Clinic in Kolkata and are being treated there in ICU.

West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee and Kolkata Mayor Shovan Chatterjee visited them in the  hospital.
