Kolkata: Astrologer booked for raping school student
According to reports, a class-IX student visited the astrologer's place on Friday evening and she was allegedly raped by the man there.
Locals, however, caught the accused astrologer, Bharat Chandra Mondal, and handed him over to the police.
He was produced in Barasat Court on Saturday and sent to police custody till Sept 8.
Police have started investigation into the matter.
