Kolkata: Arrested second ISI spy sent to police custody till Nov 29

Kolkata, Nov 17 (IBNS): The second suspected ISI (Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence) agent Zafar Khan, who was arrested by Kolkata Police's Special Task Force (STF) on Monday, was produced before the Bankshall Court on Tuesday and sent to police custody till Nov 29 for further interrogation.

Acting on a tip-off, the STF on Saturday arrested one suspected ISI agent- Akhtar Khan- from central Kolkata and after interrogating him, police made the second arrest on Monday.

Akhtar Khan was produced earlier in the same court on Sunday and sent to police custody till Nov 29.

According to police sources, police have seized many incriminating documents from the residences of Akhtar and Zafar so far, which clearly indicates their direct involvement with ISI.

However, they both will be produced to the Bankshall Court again on Nov 29.
