Kolkata: Anti-FICN team of STF arrests two FICN Racketeers

Kolkata, Apr 8 (IBNS): Acting upon a source information, the Anti-FICN team of STF, Kolkata arrested two FICN Racketeers (one Malda based and one Bihar based) from the crossing of Gosto Paul Sarani and Leslie Claudius Sarani, under Maidan Police Station area Kolkata on Sunday.

The team has also seized counterfeit Indian Currency Notes amounting to Rs 5,00,000/- of denominations (Rs 2000/- × 250 pcs) in total from their possession.

The name and particulars of the accused persons are mentioned below:

1. Sanju Saha (21yrs) S/o Swapan Saha of Vill- Kalipad Mondal Tola, Chaipara, PO: Jayenpur PS: Baisnabnagar, Malda - 732201.

2. Md. Umar (31yrs)  S/o Lt Islam Mansuri Of Vill+PO: Amari Kukraun, Kukraun Purv, Ward no 12, PS: Dhamdaha, Dist- Purnia, Bihar - 854205.

Therefore the above mentioned arrested accused persons were prosecuted vide STF PS Case No 15 dt 07/ 04/19 U/S 120B /489B /489C IPC and they will be produced before the court of Ld. CMM, Calcutta on Monday.
