Kiren Rijiju participates in the Swachh Bharat Mission programme

New Delhi, Oct 2 (IBNS): Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju participated in the Swachh Bharat Mission programme at the NP Bengali Girls School here on Sunday coinciding with the Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.

He was accompanied by the Minister of State for Minority Affairs (Independent Charge) and Parliamentary Affairs, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi.

Rijiju lauded the great endeavour of NDMC by starting the wonderful projects of smart classrooms and smart toilets around New Delhi.

He said the efforts of NDMC is a sign of dedicated quality projects which can be great examples for all the Municipalities and Panchayats of India.

Rijiju and Shri Naqvi also joined the school staff and students in a Cleanliness Drive in the School premises.
