Kejriwal's AAP to contest in DU students' union election
New Delhi, Sept 3 (IBNS): Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday announced candidates for the Delhi University Students Union election to be held on Sept 11.
The Chhatra Yuva Sangharsh Samiti (CYSS) will contest the DUSU polls.
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which defeated the BJP and the Congress badly in the Delhi Assembly elections earlier this year, will now take on the two opponent parties in the students' poll.
This comes after Kejriwal attended a rock show concert by AAP's student's wing on Monday.
On the occasion, Kejriwal had promised a higher education loan scheme, one lakh jobs within a year and free wi-fi in colleges.
