KCR leaves for Chennai, to meet DMK President

Hyderabad, May 12 (UNI) With only 11-days remaining for the results of Lok Sabha polls, Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) President and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Sunday evening left for Chennai on the second leg of his tour of the southern states.

During his visit to Tamil Nadu, Rao is expected to meet DMK president MK Stalin and discuss the present political scenario in the country.

Rao had on last Monday met with Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in Thiruvananthapuram where the two leaders discussed the ongoing elections to the Lok Sabha, possible outcomes of the polls and the role regional parties.

Rao, who had earlier decided to strongly pursue his idea of a federal front taking a concrete shape, has decided to personally get in touch with all non-congress and non-BJP parties.

This will be the second time, Rao will be meeting with Stalin, however, in April last year, he also met him.

Having completed his tour of Kerala and Tamil Naidu with his family after visiting various temples, Rao returned to Hyderabad on Friday last.
