Kashmir: Three killed, 5 injured as van plunges into gorge in Ramban's Ramsoo

Jammu, May 7 (UNI) At least three persons were killed and five injured when a van they were travelling in plunged into a gorge in Ramsoo area of Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir.

"An Eco vehicle (JK 19-3718), which was on way from Ramban to Senabhati (Paristan) late on Monday night, driven rashly by Rayaz Ahmed of Chulli Gujrara met with an accident," Javed Ahmed, Station House Officer, Ramsoo, here told UNI.

He said that due to rash and negligent driving, the vehicle when reached at Pingloga met with an accident and rolled down into deep gorge about 200 feet.

Three persons died in the mishap and were identified as Milap Singh,45, son of Amar Nath, resident of Bass tehsil Pogal, Paristan, Keshav Ram,45, son of Brij Lal, resident of Hella and Raju24, son of Shanker Dass, resident of Gram Risartan, Bhagwa.

Meanwhile injured namely Kalyan Singh,44, Reyaz Ahmed,35, Kartar Singh,55, Follower Singh,40 and Hari Om, have been admitted to the District Hospital.
