Uri, June 9 (IBNS): Five terrorists were killed in Uri of Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla district, when the security forces were trying to stop the infiltration, according to media reports on Friday.

One army soldier was even killed in the operation.

The operation is still going on which had started 30 hours back.

According to the officials, the army spotted a group of terrorists on Wednesday at the Kikker post and in the course of long operation, five were killed.

There were twelve infiltrators killed near the Line of Control in last three days of the operation.

Reports suggest that the army is carrying on the operation since they suspect more terrorists could be present in the sector.
