Srinagar, Oct 23 (IBNS): With Narendra Modi arriving in Srinagar to celebrate Diwali with the flood-affected people of Jammu and Kashmir, scores of Bharatiya Janata Party workers on Thursday held a welcome rally for the Prime Minister.

According to reports, BJP workers started a rally from Sheri Kashmir Park and ended at Zero Bridge.

Eyewitnesses said, the workers wanted to march towards the Governer house but tight security did not allow them.

Speaking to IBNS, supporters including women said that it is a message to other parties to learn from the PM on what he is doing.

Modi is spending time with Kashmir's flood effected people.

Media reports even suggested that the workers were seen dancing.
