Kamal Haasan attacks Tamil Nadu Chief Minister for not resigning over alleged corruption issue

Chennai, Aug 16 (IBNS): Actor Kamal Haasan attacked Tamil Nadu Chief Minister E Palaniswamy on Twitter for not resigning over alleged corruption issue.

Haasan said on Twitter: "If one state's CM should resign for a mishap & corruption under his govt. How come no party calls for resignation in TN. Enough crimes done."

Instead of any further attack against the CM, Haasan called for a "better Tamil Nadu" in the follow up tweets.

He said: "My aim is a better Tamilnadu.Who dares to strengthen my voice? DMK AIADMK & parties R tools to help. If those tools R blunt find others."

Though earlier the South Indian superstar voiced against TN government for corruption, this is the first time when Haasan was seen to make a scathing attack against Palaniswamy.

The attack has further heightened the speculations about the actor's joining of Tamil Nadu politics.

Haasan was seen to be present at the celebration of 75 years of TN main opposition party DMK's mouthpiece 'Murasoli' on Thursday.

Sharing the stage with DMK leader M. K. Stalin, Haasan even said: "Lot of people say that the Dravidian politics will end. But it is going to stay in the country."
