Kalraj Mishra transferred from Himachal, appointed as Rajasthan Guv

New Delhi, Sep 1 (IBNS): The Centre of Sunday transferred senior BJP leader Kalraj Mishra from Himachal Pradesh and appointed as Governor of Rajasthan.

Bandaru Dattatraya has been appointed as Governor of Himachal Pradesh.

The government has also appointed Bhagat Singh Koshyari as Governor of Maharashtra.

Meanwhile, Arif Mohammed Khan has been appointed as the Governor of Kerala and Tamilisai Soundararajan as Governor of Telangana.

The announcements were made by President rRam Nath Kovind.

"The above appointments will take effect from the dates they assume charge of their respective offices," the President's Secretariat said in a statement.
