She alleged that she was sexually molested by two of her classmates during a fest arranged by the Faculty of Engineering and Technology Students' Union (FETSU) at the University campus.

Police called the two accused students at Jadavpur Police Station and after a long interrogation police arrested them on Monday.

According to police sources, the arrested students have been charged under IPC sections 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 341 (wrongful restraint), 354-A (sexual harassment), 114 (abettor present when offence is committed) and 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman).
