J&K: Jawan killed, 2 injured in gunbattle near LoC

Srinagar, Aug 9 (IBNS): An Indian Army jawan was killed and two others were injured in an overnight gunbattle with militants near the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir, media reports said on Sunday.
The encounter between security forces and militants began on Saturday evening near the Ragni security post.

According to reports, the gunbattle is still continuing.

An Army patrol had reportedly intercepted a group of militants near the LoC, triggering the gunbattle.
