J&K: Indian tricolour hoisted at Government office complex

Srinagar/IBNS: As a part of an initiative of the government to fly the tricolour on all government buildings in J&K,  a flag hoisting ceremony was held here during which the tricolour was raised on a government office complex at Bemina, on Monday.

An official spokesman in a statement issued here said that apart from heads of the offices and housing there, a large number of employees were present on the occasion.

It said that an Army band played the national anthem and other patriotic tunes on the occasion.
