J&K: Four all-women police stations to start functioning from May 15

Srinagar, Apr 30 (IBNS) Four all-women police stations in Jammu and Kashmir will be functional from May 15, officials said.

These police stations will be set up at Anantnag, Baramulla, Rajouri and Udhampur areas in the state.

Orders for deployment of manpower and terms of reference of these police stations were issued on Friday by Director General of Police,
K. Rajendra Kumar, spokesman said.

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, in her first State Cabinet meeting, had decided setting up of four women police stations in the state, the spokesman added.
