J&K CM Mehbooba Mufti condemn the killing of four civilians in Shopian on Sunday

Srinagar, Mar 5 (IBNS): Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti condemned the killing of four civilians in Shopian of South Kashmir on Sunday evening

She tweeted: “Deeply distressed by more deaths of civilians caught in the crossfire in Shopian. My heartfelt condolences to the deceased’s families.”

Four civilians and a terrorist  were killed in army action after terrorists  reportedly attacked an army check point at Pohnoo village of Shopian, though army claimed that they killed a terrorists  and four over ground workers, a claim rejected by locals.

The body of another terrorist was recovered early Monday morning from an orchard at Saidapora, some 12 kilometers away from the encounter site as well.
