J&K: Army truck-civilian vehicle collision leaves 3 dead
Two others, who were traveling in the vehicle, were also injured in the mishap.
Locals protested in the area following the mishap.
According to reports, protesters pelted stones at the Army vehicle and even attempted to set it ablaze.
" There have been massive protests in the Shalteng area in the outskirts of Srinagar after three people died in a road accident," CNN-IBN reported.
Security forces used batons and fired tear smoke shells to disperse protesters from the site of the mishap, reports said.
