Srinagar, Sept 20 (IBNS): An Army jawan was killed and three others were injured in a sniper attack from across the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Wednesday, media reports said.

The martyr has been identified as Sepoy Rajesh Khatri.

In a tweet, the Army wrote: "General Bipin Rawat #COAS & All Ranks salute supreme sacrifice of our martyr & offer condolences to the family of the braveheart."

According to reports, the Pakistani troopers attacked the Indian Army in Kupwara's Keran sector on Wednesday.
