Jammu: Police recovers missing govt teacher from woods in Akhnoor

Jammu/UNI: Police claimed to have recovered a government teacher, who went missing since Monday, from the forests of Chowki Choura here in Akhnoor area on Jammu outskirts.

Police said that teacher identified as Rakesh Kumar, a government teacher, went missing on June 8 and was found late evening from the forests of Chowki Choura.

Police said, "The teacher was reportedly missing from June 8 morning and during investigation, his call detail records were investigated, which cleared the dust and have many theories surfacing."

They added, "He was recovered with some mild injuries and shifted to hospital from where he was referred to GMC Jammu."
