Jammu: Pakistan violates ceasefire, 1 civilian killed

Srinagar, Oct 23 (IBNS) A least one person was killed as Pakistani Rangers violated ceasefire at Samba sector on India-Pakistan international border in Jammu on Friday, reports said.

According to reports, three people were injured in the incident that occurred at around 5 pm.

Inspector General of BSF, Jammu Frontier, Rakesh Sharma told India Today, "Pakistan started unprovoked firing at international Border in Samba sector, where some maintenance work was on and some local labourers were working."

The BSF  reportedly fired to the Pakistani firing.
