Jammu and Kashmir: Street hawker shot dead by terrorists in Srinagar

Srinagar: Suspected terrorists shot dead a street hawker in Jammu and Kashmir's Srinagar city on Tuesday, police said.

The slain person was identified as  Virender Paswan.

According to reports, the incident took place at Madina Chowk, Lalbazar in Srinagar where terrorists fired upon the victim Virender Paswan. 

He was a resident of  Bihar's Bhagalpur district.

Kashmir Zone Police tweeted: "#Terrorists killed one non-local near Madina Chowk Lalbazar #Srinagar. The deceased person has been identified as Virender Paswan resident of Bhagalpur Bihar, a street hawker, presently residing at Alamgari Bazar Zadibal. #Search in the area is in progress."
