Jammu and Kashmir: Policeman injured in militant attack in Kulgam

Srinagar/UNI: Militants shot at and critically wounded a constable of J&K police in Kulgam district of south Kashmir Friday evening, official sources said.

They said militants fired at a constable from very close range at main chowk Wanpoh in Kulgam this evening. The injured was immediately rushed to hospital in a critical condition, they said adding security forces have cordoned off entire area and launched a search operation.

Further details are awaited, they said.
