Jammu and Kashmir: One terrorist killed in overnight operation in Pulwama

Srinagar: One militant has been killed in an overnight operation in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said on Monday morning.

The anti-militancy operation was launched on Sunday evening at Gundipora area of Pulwama where police said that two Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) were trapped.

One militant has been neutralized so far during the operation, the police said.

"PulwamaEncounterUpdate: 01 #terrorist killed. #Operation in progress. Further details shall follow," Kashmir Zone Police said in a tweet.
