Jammu: Two Pakistani intruders were killed as Indian Army troops successfully foiled an infiltration bid in Jammu and Kashmir along the Line of Control in Naushera area of Rajouri district.

Defence spokesperson on Tuesday said the infiltration attempt was foiled by alert troops in the intervening night of Aug 22-23 in Laam sector.

"The reconnaissance of the general area of attempted infiltration site is in progress," said the officer.

He said the military scrutiny scan was being done by a Quadcopter.

Two bodies of infiltrators have been observed during the scan.

On Sunday morning, Army detained an intruder after he was injured when troops opened fire after observing suspicious movement near the LoC in Laam.
