Jammu: Indian Army troops successfully foiled an infiltration attempt and eliminated two terrorists along the Line of Control in bordering Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Official sources on Sunday said that on Saturday evening, troops deployed along the Balakote sector observed a suspicious movement ahead of the border fence.

"They subsequently opened fire and neutralised two terrorists while the area has been cordoned off and the operation is in progress," they added.

The operations to nab terrorists involved in the Dhangri attack in Rajouri district is already continue by the security forces.
