Jammu: Alert troops of the Border Security Force on Tuesday morning neutralised one Pakistani intruder and apprehended another in separate incidents along the international border in Jammu and Samba districts.

A BSF spokesperson said that troops neutralized an intruder coming from Pakistan on IB in Arnia sector early morning as he was approaching aggressively towards the fence.

"He was challenged, asked to stop but he did not pay any heed. Left with no other alternative the troops fired on him and killed him," he said.

A search in the area has been underway.

In a separate incident, the spokesman added troops apprehended a Pakistani intruder as he approached the fencing after crossing the IB in Ramgarh Sector early morning in Tuesday.

"He was brought inside Indian side of the fence after opening the gate. Nothing incriminating found from his possession so far," he said.
