Srinagar: Two teachers, including a woman, belonging to the minority communities, were killed by terrorists in a school in downtown Srinagar on Thursday, official sources said.

They said the terrorists fired from very close range at Satinder Kaur and Deepak Chand, teachers at Government Higher Secondary School, Sangam in Eidgah area of the city.

Both the injured were rushed to hospital where they succumbed to their injuries.

The entire area has been cordoned off and a massive hunt has been launched to nab the killers, they said.

This is the fourth target killing in the Kashmir valley during the past three days. On October 5 a Kashmiri pandit M L Bindroo, a Kashmiri Muslim and a resident of Bihar were killed by unidentified gunmen in Srinagar and Bandipora.
