Jammu and Kashmir: 11 persons suffer injuries as passenger cab falls into gorge in Ramban

Jammu/UNI: As many as 11 persons suffered injuries when a passenger taxi in which they were traveling met with an accident and fell into a gorge in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Two of these injured passengers are in serious condition.

Police said that a cab with 11 passengers on board this morning fell into a gorge near Digdol.

"Police teams with army and locals launched rescue operation and shifted the injured to the hospital," police said adding that two passengers are seriously injured and are being retrieved from the spot.

More details are awaited, said police.
