Jaish terror module busted in Delhi, 12 held

New Delhi, May 4 (IBNS) In a major breakthrough, the Delhi Police have busted a Jaish-e-Mohammed terror module active in the national capital and detained 12 suspects, media reports said.

Eight  of the 12 Jaish-e-Mohammed suspects have been nabbed by the  Intelligence Bureau and the special cell from Delhi, while four of them have been picked up from Deoband, Uttar Pradesh. 

The reports said bomb-making material and IED devices have been recovered from the suspects who are being interrogated at special cell's headquarters at Lodhi Colony.

The identity and nationality of the suspects have not been disclosed.

The special cell has registered an FIR against the suspects for being members of an unlawful group (Unlawful Activities and Prevention Act, UAPA) and under the Explosives Act and for criminal conspiracy.
