Israel's Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon to visit India

New Delhi,Feb 13 (IBNS): Israel's Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon will visit India next week and will conduct high level meetings in Delhi and in Bangalore with the Indian Government, officials said on Friday.

"The Minister will inaugurate the Israeli Pavilion in Aero India 2015 in Bangalore," read a statement issued by the Embassy of Israel in New Delhi.

Minister Ya’alon will head a senior delegation of Ministry of Defense officials including Director General of Ministry of Defense Dan Harel and CEO’s of Israeli Defense companies.

15 Israeli companies are expected to exhibit in Aero India in a total area of 1100 sqm and hundreds of Israeli representatives will participate in the exhibition.

Ambassador of Israel in India, Daniel Carmon said: “The visit of Minister of Defense Ya’alon in India is an important event and the manifestation of the growing relations between the two countries across the board, including in defense cooperation. India and Israel share many challenges and interests and I am sure this visit will strengthen the friendship and partnership we have with India.”
