Agra, Aug 22 (IBNS): An 11-month old infant was allegedly raped by a teenager, reports said.

The incident took place on Saturday evening in Agra district's Kagraul area.

The accused is said to be the victim's neighbour and raped her on the pretext of playing with her.

Reports said that the teenager, who is quite infamous in the neighbourhood, asked the infant's parents if he could take her with him as he has a gift for her.

Given the nod, he had unnatural sex with her at his place.

The family of the accused has been declared outcast by the village panchayat, following the incident.

An FIR has been registered under IPC 377 against the accused, Times of India reported.
