Indian scientist claims MH370 breakthrough
Jeyaprabhu, a Coimbatore-based scientist has claimed to have located the debris about 1,400 kilometres north of the search area in the Indian Ocean.
The revelation came as the fruitless international search effort for the ill-flight, which had disappeared 68 days ago with all its 227 passengers, fuelled conspiracy theories.

Meanwhile a Chinese navy ship will start mapping the Indian Ocean seabed this week under the "new phase" in the hunt for the crashed plane.
Malaysian, Australian and Chinese authorities agreed on the deployment of ship Zhu Kezhen for the purpose after meeting over the weekend in Fremantle, Western Australia, to discuss the bathymetric survey.
