India summons Pak deputy high commissioner over 26/11 trial
New Delhi, July 25 (IBNS): India on Friday summoned Pakistan's deputy high commissioner and lodged a strong protest over the delay in 26/11 Mumbai terror attack case trial in the neighbouring country.
While the Pakistan deputy high commissioner was summoned to the ministry of external affairs in India, the Indian deputy high commissioner went to the Pakistan foreign office in Islamabad.
He also lodged a similar protest in Pakistan.
A Pakistani anti-terrorism court trying the seven accused in the Mumbai attack case adjourned the hearing on Wednesday for the seventh time in a row.
However, Pakistan has told India that the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks trial was a judicial matter and there was nothing the government could do over the adjournment of the trial, The Hindu reported.
It has reportedly expressed its concern over the delay in the Samjhauta Express blasts trial in India.
