I am not anti-Hindu but anti-Modi: Prakash Raj

Hyderabad, Jan 19 (IBNS): Speaking at the India Today South Conclave in Hyderabad, actor Prakash Raj on Friday, said he is not anti-Hindu but anti-Narendra Modi, media reports said.

Prakash's comment was quoted by Hindustan Times, "They say I am anti-Hindu but I say I am anti-Modi, anti-Amit Shah and anti-Hegde".

He referred to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP National President Amit Shah and Union Minister Anant Kumar Hedge.

Prakash passed the comment a day after he had alleged in a tweet that some Hindu-right wing Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) members sprinkled cow urine on the stage after the delivery of his speech in Sirsi, Karnataka.

Taking on Modi, Prakash had explained why he is against the PM.

He said the PM remained completely mum when prominent journalist Gauri Lankesh was murdered by some unknown assailants last year.

"A true Hindu cannot support such activity" the actor said.

He even said those who support "killers", cannot be called "Hindus".
