Hyderabad: Woman robbed at gunpoint inside ATM

Hyderabad, May 21 (IBNS): In a shocking incident, CCTV footage has emerged showing a woman being robbed at gunpoint inside an ATM in Yosufguda area of Hyderabad on Wednesday.
The robber was seen firing shots into the ATM as well.
 
The incident occurred at around 7:45 AM when Lalitha, who works with a software firm, had gone to the ATM centre to withdraw money.
 
As she entered the ATM centre, a man with his face covered followed her inside and asked her to hand over her purse, jewellery.
 
As she resisted, the robber fired a shot into the wall and then took her gold chain.
 
Her mobile phone and ATM card was also taken by the goon.
 
Fifteen minutes after the accused fled from the spot, Rs 2,500 were found to have been withdrawn from another ATM centre using the victim's card, reports said.
