Huge quantity of illegal drugs seized in Manipur’s Moreh town

Imphal, Dec 16 (IBNS): The Anti Drug Abuse Campaign Committee under the Hill Tribal Council in Manipur’s Moreh seized huge quantity of illegal drugs including brown sugar from the Indo-Myanmar border on Saturday.

According to the reports, the executive, workers of the committee launched an operation against the illegal drug sellers at Moreh town area and seized 43,000 numbers ‘World is Yours’ (WY) tablet, huge quantity of brown sugars and some other chemical which is used to make drugs worth of Rs 2 crore.

Later, the committee disposed off the seized drugs in front of local people.

The committee had earlier seized illegal drugs worth of several crore rupees from the Indo-Myanmar border.
