History will spit at this animal: Anurag Kashyap attacks Amit Shah after CAA protester 'beaten' in rally

New Delhi/Mumbai/IBNS: After a man was beaten up following his anti-Citizenship (Amendment) Act slogan at Union Home Minister Amit Shah's Delhi rally a day ago, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap went to the extent of calling the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader an "animal" while attacking the politician.

While Shah was addressing a poll rally in Delhi's Babarpur, a man in the crowd had started chanting anti-CAA slogans infuriating the BJP supporters.

Soon the BJP supporters had allegedly beaten the man while Shah was directing police to manage the situation. The Home Minister was heard asking police to take away the man safely out of the crowd.

Hitting out at Shah, Kashyap, a critic of the BJP, tweeted, "How coward is our Home Minister. He increases his police, security, Army and security but attacks unarmed protestors. If there is any limit to cheapness then it is Amit Shah. History will spit on this animal."

Launching a scathing attack on the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Congress, Shah on Sunday urged people to vote against Shaheen Bagh where Muslim women are protesting against the CAA for over the month now.

Delhi will go to polls on Feb 8 while results will be declared on 11th of the same month.
