Himachal Pradesh: Hotel manager arrested for alleged involvement in call girl racket

Nurpur:  The police have arrested a hotel manager for allegedly running a prostitution racket in Bhadroya village of Nurpur police district in Himachal Pradesh, an official said on Monday.

Nurpur police district Superintendent of Police Ashok Rattan told UNI that on the basis of a tip off, police raided the hotel under Damtal police station and arrested hotel manager Arun Kumar, a resident of district Panipat, red-handed while allegedly forcing a girl into prostitution.

Cash has also been recovered from the accused as part of the search operation in the hotel.

Police claim that during the operation a girl has also been taken into custody.

The police have registered a case against the hotel manager under various sections of immoral trafficking Act.

Police is taking further legal action in this connection.
